WHY YOU SHOULD GO TO DOWNLOAD

Duh. Like you need an article telling you why you should go.

However, if you do, here you go...

THESE ARE JUST FIVE REASONS YOU SHOULD GO.

Yeah, just five. There's a lot more than that, but still... I have to say, I don't think you'd read them all. Am I right? Let's get on with it.

1. The People

The patrons of Download are some of the nicest people in the universe. Like, so cool. Stuck for a drink, they might offer you one. A cigarette? Have one of theirs. Maybe. I don't know, that might be an exaggeration. But they're cool. Really cool. That's why Download feels like home to all who go.

2. Camping

There's something about camping that reacquaints man with nature. HA! Man, getting faced in a tent with your friends and even complete strangers on occasion is a totally valid reason to go to Download. It's not all about the music, right? But no glass, that's not allowed. (Also, please drink responsibly. We are in no way to blame for your drunken antics, but dammit, we'll enjoy the tales of them.)

3. Food

It goes hand in hand with camping. It's widely known that you will not eat properly at a festival, even if you're a vegan. Legit. You cook your own food, or you spend big money on food that is actually delicious,

4. NXT Returns to Download

Ok, I have to make a slight admission... I love Wrestling. Like seriously, it's all over my twitter page. The majority of my wardrobe is either wrestling shirts, or band tees. There is just something about pro wrestling and rock music that makes it go hand in hand. This is what makes NXT and Download like... well, an amazing pairing. And y'know, you can see the world renowned NXT Superstars, including the GLORIOUS Bobby Roode, who made his NXT debut at Download last year, so there's very probably a special appearance planned.

5. Bands

You can't talk about Download without mentioning the bands. They are painstakingly booked and arranged by a small team of people, and it's wholly appreciated by all who attend the festival. There's a number of fine bands on the bill this year, including an incredible variety of bands, as can be seen purely from the headliners; System of a Down, Biffy Clyro and Aerosmith.

So there you have it. Five things that should help convince you to go to Download. So get yourself over to www.downloadfestival.co.uk and snap up any remaining tickets before they're all gone. Seriously. They'll go soon.
