Once again the Steam summer sale is upon us and once more like a yearly credit card sacrifice to the Gods of gaming, that to means savings, and big ones.
So I've sifted through the thousands of reduced games to find the best bargains out there so as to make this summer sale, a productive one.
First up, The Witcher 3 GOTY edition. At £17.49 that's a 50% saving on the standard game and All its expansions, at easily over 150+ hours of fine compelling game play, this was one of my favourite games last year and if you haven't played it yet, I compel you to do so.

Prison Architect, at £4.99 that's a 75% saving, now this game is a build and simulate game, along the lines of the Classic Theme hospital or Rollercoaster Tycoon. Like it's other games of its kind, you really are only limited by your imagination. Wanna build a prison designed to stimulate and rehabilitate, go right a head, wanna import a load of violent and aggressive prisoners into the mix and watch the whole world burn? Step right up. Borderlands 2 GOTY edition, at £7.70 that's a huge 78% saving on what is the full game and 9 DLC PACKS, which is frankly such a good deal I don't know why you’re still reading this, it's okay I'll give you a minute…… Okay now you've brought this bargain prepaid yourself for what will probably be 150+ hours of explosions, one liners, incredible weapons and landscapes and some of the finest comedic writing I've seen go into a game, it's an experience best undertaken with 1-3 other friends, but you'll laugh, you’ll cry and you'll most defiantly want a solid diamond unicorn.

Dark Souls 3 Deluxe Edition, at £29.99 that's a 50% saving on the game plus its season pass, and with the hotly anticipated Ring City DLC not long out, now is a great time to sign up to a true lesson in patience, dark souls 3 is the amalgamation of years of death at the hands of something bigger and worse, until you figure out its patterns and destroy the behemoth, on its face a violent test of patience at its heart an unforgiving rhythm game.

Bioshock: The Collection, £9.99 saving 75%
I almost didn't include this on the list, but ultimately the brilliance of the first and 3rd game well outweigh the mediocre 2nd game. The first game is one of the most beautiful and well written games I've played. Dark deceptive and sure to keep you guessing right until the end. The second game is the odd one of the collection, not bad, just it often struggle to much to live up to the shadow of the 1st, Infinite was my game of 2013. More emotive and evocative than I thought a game could be, a beautiful masterpiece of emotion, and that's before you even tackle the stunning return to rapture DLC of burial at sea. Overall when making my picks I tried to balance out savings to game quality, and remember this is list based on my personal opinion and in now way necessarily represents where you may think these games sit in the grand pantheon of quality video games.
