We here at StereoRiot want you to go to as many gigs as possible and know about as much music related things as possible. So here's a quick highlight reel for today.
Got nothing to do tonight? That’s a goddamn lie! If you’re Birmingham based there’s the almighty Ho99o9 playing at the O2 Academy or if you’re feeling something else, Manchester Orchestra are at the Institute! Down south way, there’s Itch and Louise Distras ripping up the start of their UK tour in Cambridge or Slaves (US) bombarding London’s Underworld. Not forgetting about you lot up North, BANKS is up at the Manchester Academy.
Don’t put your wallets away after tonight either, cause tomorrow is chock-a-block with live music as well! Reverend and the Makers are performing at the Electric Ballroom in the capital, as well as BANKS continuing her tour at the Eventim. Bristol are being graced with two complete ends of the spectrum, with MC Lars at the Louisiana and W.A.S.P at the O2! Snaking even further up England, Brum will be bouncing with tunes, Zara Larsson is rocking the Academy, Joey Bada$$ is at the Institute as well as The Raven Age (Note from the editor: DO NOT MISS THESE GUYS!). And you can’t forget the ground-breaking sound of Emeli Sande at the Genting Arena as well. But what’s that Manchester, you’ve got a boring night ahead? Stop being stupid, you’re going to have both Weezer and The Hoosiers! Oh UK, why are you so full of GREAT GIGS!
That’s not all today, there’s been some great news for upcoming tours. We’re recently learnt about Flight of the Conchords coming to the UK next March, which will sell out in seconds, so look out for tickets on Friday. Not only that, but Steel-Goddamn-Panther are going to be back next January. Tickets for that go live Friday as well (my poor poor wallet). We’ve already mentioned While She Sleeps have put out news about their new tour, but there’s a friendly reminder about it as well.
Tune in tomorrow where we’ll bug you to go to more gigs and try and tell you stuff you don’t know about!
