It's nearly the end of 2016, thank god. And it seems to be ending on a high note, as the King of Shock Rock, Alice 'Freaking*' Cooper (*Not his real name), has announced a 2017 tour.
November 2017 will be bringing Cooper to 5 different UK dates, with The Mission and The Tubes in support. After a 5 year gap, a headline tour is only part of what seems to be a big year for Alice. Current whispers indicate a new 2017 album with members of the original band and produced by Bob Ezrin and of course there's little doubt that more dates with the Hollywood Vampires (Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry) will occur.
Coopers unique brand of theatrical shock rock is certain to blow your mind. From on stage deaths, giant Frankenstein-esc monsters, fireworks and a hugely energetic backing band (with latest member Nita Strauss on lead guitar, joined by old favourites Chuck Garric, Tommy Henriksen, Ryan Roxie and Glen Sobel), there's a reason that Alice still tours and pulls huge crowds.
